She Knows!

I've known for almost a year that I'm Olivia's mom...now she knows, too!

This morning I received a brief message:  "Told Olivia today."  Of course I was praying that upon hearing and seeing the pictures I had sent that she didn't turn and run in terror!  All signs to the contrary!

A short time later I received some photos and video clips.  I have a friend who is currently in China and will be loving on Olivia on Friday.  I'm told that she will be bringing back to me a CD with even more photos capturing "the telling."

Until they arrive, I'll share with you a few glimpses:

What is a cousin and what are these crazy boys doing?

In one of the videos she is looking at a picture of our whole family taken last Thanksgiving.  She points to me and says, "Mama" (makes my heart happy), and points to a picture of my Dad and says, "Yea Yea" (Grandpa, which makes him beam).  She also was very intrigued by a picture of one of my nephews when he was missing some of his teeth and another who was holding a big bug.  A little boy wanted to keep looking at the book but she very protectively pulled it away.  A book - and family - of her very own!

I am blessed beyond belief that Olivia is currently living where she is and for the love and care that she is receiving until I am able to provide it myself!  The photos and the updates that I receive are so much more than most families do.  They are treasures!

Will you join me in praying for her and for her sweet little heart as she prepares to have her world flipped upside down?  She is about to leave the familiar for a whole lot of unknown.  Thank you!
