Wait

I'm not good at waiting.  I don't actually know many who are.  So today I decided to do my own study on the word, "wait."  Here is what I found...

"I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word, I put my hope."

Psalms 130:5

 

"Wait for the LORD, be strong and take heart, and wait for the LORD."

Psalms 27:14

 

"Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you, he rises to show you compassion.  For the LORD is a God of justice.  Blessed are all who wait on him."

Isaiah 30:18

 

"...wait for the gift My Father promised."

Acts 1:46

 

"Not only so, but we ourselves who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies."

Romans 8:23

 

"..and to wait for his son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead -

Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath."

1 Thessalonians 1:10

Fact:  Waiting is going to happen.  Question: How are we going to approach it?
