I was wandering around the Columbus Zoo today with Cici (visiting for Fall break from DePauw, daughter of friend in Beijing).
We were having fun talking about difference between US and Chinese zoos (now that we have both been to both).

Cici commented that next year at this time I would be there with my little one. CAN'T WAIT!!
And then my phone buzzed...
MY HOME STUDY IS FINALIZED!!! Woohoo! Now we can move on to the next step! Will be sending copy off to UCSIS with my I-800A immediately!!! WOOOHOOO!! (For perspective, until the home study is done, there is very little else that can be done. This is a foundational step for all parts of the adoption process!)
