When my journey to bring Olivia began, There were so many things about which I had no clue. I had no clue how my life would be changed. I had no clue I could love a little person so much. And I certainly had no clue that I would develop the kind of friendships that I have.
These friendships have held me when I've cried, guided me through mounds of paperwork, prayed me through tough days, and celebrated with me for milestones big and small.
I've gained a new set of heroes. I see up close and personal the selfless love of women (and men) who serve and love endlessly.
One of these amazing people is my friend Amy. She is the incredible mom of nine, the adoption coordinator for a ministry that believes we are all called to do something to care for orphans and victims of sex trafficking, a fitness and wellness coach, a fundraising pro, knows enough about different parts of medicine and has been to a wide enough assortment of appointments/surgeries/treatments that she should have an honorary MD, loves Jesus fiercely, and loves people oh so well.

I am blessed and humbled to be one of those people!
I first met Amy when she was working to bring Toby home and I was in pursuit of Olivia. I will never forget the genuineness of her hug and her smile. I knew immediately I was in the presence of someone special.
As a part of her fundraising efforts, she held an auction of some of her paintings (she is a pretty incredible and talented artist!). One in particular resonated with people so strongly that it became a shirt, and note cards, and eventually a silver pendant.
Amy shared with me a few weeks ago that now that her sweet Gable is home that she wants me - ME! - to be the beneficiary of the sales of this awesome necklace! She wants to use this beautiful piece that was inspired by her beautiful heart and her even more beautiful love of Jesus, to help bring Callie home!
Designed by Amy and created by the talented Mountain Girl Silver, this serves as a visible reminder that we are all called to love endlessly, just as our Heavenly Father loves us endlessly.
Isn't it gorgeous?!
I can't even begin to share how deeply my heart has been touched by Amy's generosity.
If you would like to help bring Callie home through the purchase of one of these beautiful necklaces, you can do so here.
If you would like to learn more about Amy's beautiful heart, you can do so here.
"We love because He first loved us."
