3 Months of Family Love

Only July 1, 2013, a very sad little girl was placed in my arms.
What a beautiful difference 3 months of love can make!

About a week ago, Olivia woke up sad from her nap. We were laying on her bed as I asked her what was wrong. She said, "Bei Bei has a family. Ruby has a family.  Addison has a family. I have a family. But Charlotte doesn't have a family." I was excited to be able to tell her that she does have a family working hard to bring her home.

And then she put her hands on both of my cheeks and said, "I love you so so so much! Thank you, Mommy, for bringing me home!"

I, of course, burst into tears. She started to ask why I was crying and then she said, "I know. Mommy and Mimi just cry." It's true. We do. And Olivia is starting to understand this crazy thing called family.

"I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him."
1 Samuel 1:27
